Big Lachie won the Betway sprint handicap up at Newcastle on Friday evening, continuing the good form of the yard. Andrew Mullen rode him for the first time and settled him in midfield before taking it up in the final furlong & going on to win by a length. We were delighted to have our first winner for owners Archie & Jen Tait and Jim and Garry Fernand.
Earlier in the week we traveled Chestnut Fire and Deeleys Double to Chantilly to run on the all-weather track over there. Eoin Walsh went over to ride both horses. We were going over with a 100% win strike rate in France, after winning a race with Burnside on the same card last year. Chestnut Fire lined up in the first race and traveled strongly into the race, taking it up about a furlong out and went on to win by … Read More

Dream Magic returned to Wolverhampton last night and pretty much mirrored the race when he won two runs ago. Andrew Mullen rode him again and as with his previous win over course and distance, he went out in front setting his own fractions. When he kicked on at the final bend, he was never in doubt and drew 10 lengths clear by the time he reached the line. After a couple of weeks of placed efforts it was lovely to … Read More
Dark alliance has had a fantastic start to the new year making it 2 wins from 2 runs this week. After his win at Wolverhampton on Monday we traveled him down to Lingfield Park this afternoon, where he was successful in the first division of the 1 mile handicap. Eddy Greatrex took the ride again, but it didn’t quite go to plan from the stalls so he had to ride a patient race waiting for the gaps to come, fortunately … Read More
Our good start to 2018 continues as we bring home another winner today! Deeley’s Double, only having his 3rd run for our yard, ran out a comfortable winner in the 1m 3f handicap at Kempton this evening, breaking his maiden tag at the 9th time of asking. It was our first winner for owners Shropshire Wolves – congratulations to them all!
Dark Alliance won the first race at Wolverhampton tonight under a confident ride by Edward Greatrex, who is a jockey in great form at the moment. It was our first winner for the New Year, after a couple of good placed efforts last week. Dark Alliance has been a tricky horse to get back to good health, so it was great to see him get his head in front again. It has been a massive team effort with a lot … Read More
2017 has been an exciting year for us at DML Racing and we have achieved some great results. We had a very strong AW campaign at the start of the year and also saddled our first runner in France – which was also our first winner in France! We accomplished our move to Worcestershire in the spring and have spent the last 9 months settling into our fabulous new facilities. We brought the majority of our team with us from … Read More
Dream Magic was trying 1m 4f for the first time last week in Wolverhampton and relished the additional distance. Andrew Mullen took the ride and gave him a fantastic ride from the front, stealing the race turning into the straight. We were delighted to see him return to form and it was a well received win for all the team.
