Rock Farm Racing Stables is a brand new racing yard which has been built from scratch to the highest possible standards, and opened in April 2017, offering new and existing owners the chance to have their horses trained at a top-class facility in Worcestershire.

Daniel Mark Loughnane has been based in England since 2011 after initially launching his training career back home in his native Ireland. After five successful years based in Staffordshire, at the end of March 2017 we relocated the fifty horses in our care to our new training facility in Rock village, near Kidderminster. The purpose-built yard has amazing facilities including Monarch stables & walkers, two Andrews Bowen all weather gallops, and an indoor arena, all situated within 120 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside with extensive paddocks allowing the horses to be turned out regularly in a natural setting.

We made the switch to our new base after achieving our best tally of 38 winners across both codes in 2016. The new yard will allow us to accommodate more horses, has plenty of room for further expansion, and provides a terrific location with first-rate facilities which we hope will take us to the next level and enable us to develop the horses even further.

At Rock Farm, we have exclusive use of both circular and uphill gallops - there is a seven-furlong right-handed uphill track and a two-and-a-half-furlong canter track - as well as an indoor schooling arena which is a great benefit, an EquiSpa, Solarium and an Owners' Lounge.

Our new training centre is the culmination of nearly 12 months planning and hard work, and we are very grateful to our landlords Steve and Anita Mares, owners of Kidderminster-based company Trueline Expanded Products, who developed the site. They have been long-standing supporters of racing who have horses in training with us, and have offered us the opportunity to grow, in the best possible surroundings.

The new facilities will take your breath away and existing owners have been universally positive about the move.

At DML Racing we always try to make racing enjoyable for owners so whatever your requirements please give us a call or drop in to see what we offer here at Rock Farm, and we will discuss your individual needs. Our fees remain very competitive!

Mark is an up and coming young trainer with a bright future who has steadily increased his number of winners year on year. He had 38 winners in 2016 and plans to keep growing!
